Avi RosenbergChief of StaffHello everyone! My name is Avi Rosenberg, and I am this year's Chief of Staff. I am a junior and have been doing Model UN since 6th grade. At last WYOMUN I was the head chair for the UN Committee on Interplanetary affairs. This year I will be the crisis director for the Ad Hoc committee, WYOMUN's first in many years. I have really enjoyed my time doing Model UN in high school and hope that this year will be even more fun and exciting now than ever. Participating in WYOMUN has been an extremely meaningful experience for me and I hope that you will feel the same way.
I also participate in other activities along with Model UN. I am also on the school’s Academic Team, played on the tennis team, and work at my synagogue. I also love to play video games, especially space and science-fiction themed ones as well as watching football and baseball! Sarah OmidvarDirector General-CrisisHello everyone! My name is Sarah Omidvar and I am one of the Director Generals for WYOMUN IX. I am also the Secretary of Conferences for our club’s Model UN team. I started Model UN last year, first by head chairing our WYOMUN Chaos in the Caribbean Committee, and then debating at several conferences. This year, I am the point person and a head chair for our Watergate Joint Crisis Committee, which I am incredibly excited about. On top of all these Model UN activities, some of my hobbies are playing the violin in our school orchestra, drawing to pass time, and participating in several school clubs, including Student Council, Yearbook Club, and Mock Trial.
Katie CallahanDirector General-GA/SAHello, my name is Katie Callahan and I am thrilled to be a Director General for WYOMUN IX. I am a junior, and this is my second year on WYOMUN’s Executive Committee and third year in MUN overall. At WYOMUN VII, I was the Crisis Director for Chaos in the Caribbean: Cuban Revolutionary Cabinet committee, where I tried and failed to slow down World War III. This year, I am the chair for the Dharavi development committee, and look forward to hearing some great debate. On Wyoming’s MUN Secretariat, I serve as the Secretary of Leadership and Development. At our last travel conference, the fifth that I’ve participated in, I represented Fiji in a futuristic environmental crisis committee - it was unlike any of my previous MUN experiences and lots of fun. Outside of MUN, I enjoy hiking, reading, painting, and volunteering at the Cincinnati Zoo.
