The Age of Napoleon: The Napoleonic Wars

After the French Revolution ended in 1799, Napoleon Bonaparte became Emperor of France. He became ruler through a coup d'état. Napoleon had absolute rule and wanted to expand France as much as possible. He modernized and helped to create lots of advancements in France. These wars helped to confirm his supreme rule and his dominance over the rest of France and Europe. Alliances changed between the countries and France and Napoleon overthrew governments and won dozens of battles, while only losing a battle against Britain. The wars lasted from 1800 to 1815.
Delegates in this committee will be faced with challenges within the wars and alliances. How does each nation deal with France and the wars? How does each nation change from the wars? How did each country react and adapt to the wars? What were the war strategies and tactics used to invade or protect other countries? This committee's goal is to guide and find a way through the Napoleonic Wars.
