Zeus has just freed his siblings from Kronos’s stomach and the Titanomachy has begun. He has just declared war on the Titans, and this epic battle is reaching its end day by day. Kronos is now struggling to keep the Titans in line as they scramble to gain power. Zeus and his allies are about to square off against the Titans as the war rages on. Tension is growing between the Gods and the Titans. Deities motivated by the preservation of current monarchical structures and the abandonment of it alike will be tasked with navigating not only the devastation that is pertinent to warfare, but the power asymmetry which is destined to proceed. Who will rise to the occasion and win the war? How will the losers be punished? Will the Titans keep their control, or will they be dethroned by the gods?
For the Titans, the burst of Kronos’ first five children from his septum is an indicator of one thing: destruction. Zeus, the youngest of six, has single handedly managed to free those prophesied to destroy the Titans’ carefully constructed empire, with no more than a drugged drink in hand. Kronos has been deceived, humiliated, and experienced a threat to his power; as have all the others of his kind. The Titan populace recognizes this as a threat to the rulership they’ve lived under ever since their own revolution with their fathers had been won. Generations have observed both the development and corruption of their government, and are now expected to do so once again as the Olympians put their authority, magical hierarchy, and even the perception of their subjects in peril. Even if they are to win, questions remain on how they could possibly mend the cracks left by the reckless Olympians. For instance, is Kronos, a man so easily hoodwinked fit to possess the power between earth and sky in his hands? Question? Question? Regardless, the following years will be trifling, and either way, everything will begin to change.
The gods know that by this point, revolution is inevitable. They aren’t in the most advantageous position though, despite the fact that Zeus had managed to liberate the new warriors. The expertise of Gaia, paired with their thirst for reform, has given them the rare opportunity to entirely alter the universe they live in, so it best be ensured that his single chance does not go to waste.
On the surface, the Titans and Gods both develop plots to dismantle their opposers, but just below them, there rests enchanted weapons, monsters, and other foes waiting on their release. Delegates advocating for both
