A dystopian world placed in the future. A poor girl from District 12 named Katniss takes the place of her sister in the Hunger Games. A inhumane way to punish the districts for fighting by having them sacrifice teens to fight to the death for TV. The other tribute from her district is a quote baker's son named Peeta. She ends up winning the hunger games with him to be back in the arena a year later to do it all again. This time with all tributes who are victors. She breaks open the arena and is saved by her mentor Haymitch who is part of the revolution. They work together with other allies in district 13 as an attempt to overthrow the government and President Snow. They succeed with the help from 13 and others but who will lead now? What kind of government should they have? What should the war crimes punishment be? Should there be another Hunger Games for the capital? Delegates will have to navigate who the new leader should be and rebuild a society from the ground up without the people becoming in panic from the chaos.
