Since 1946, UNICEF, the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund, has been working to create “a world where that upholds the rights of children and helps every child thrive.” Working in over 190 countries, UNICEF helps to ensure that all children can thrive. Today, sexual abuse, harassment, and malnutrition are extreme challenges that children have to face today. Working with the other nations involved in UNICEF work together to identify, and combat these challenges to help better the lives of children around the world, by helping give protection, and support in different areas of their lives.
